When you enroll your child in our professional "Transported After School Karate Program", we will teach your child martial arts. Studies have shown, and parents of children in our program know, that martial arts lessons can help improve your child’s confidence and help develop the leadership skills they need in life. Most of all, they'll gain the high self esteem that is proven to result from martial arts training as we teach it in our exclusive Bellingham Transported After School Karate Program.
Our program provides a constructive alternative to daycare, extended day at school, and babysitting or latch-key. We are a licensed martial arts school and not a daycare or tutor. There is no extra charge for in-service days, snow days, or days when the children are out of school all day. On these days you may drop off as early as 7:00AM, and pick up as late as 6:15PM. Pack a lunch on those days and make sure students bring their karate uniforms for a fun day of training and games. Children may bring and eat a snack before class. Class time will be from 4:20PM until 5:10PM each day. Then children will participate in specialty classes ranging from Tumbling/Gymnastics for Karate, Hyper Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for Kids, and/or Muay Thai for Kids.
On regular days you may pick up your child from 5:10PM until 6:15PM after their karate class on your way home from work instead of using a daycare service. Every student should come prepared, with their uniform, ready to learn and train each day.
We are in the talent and skill business, not the supervision and care business. The only reason to use our programs is to learn the martial arts and its tenants that we teach: exercise, discipline, respect, manners, self-defense, and self-esteem through earning belt ranks. We pride ourselves on our students’ ability to make this carry over into their school work and home life.
